Description
A gift of a Sugar Maple Lease which provides 100% natural organic maple syrup, will delight your recipients all year long!
- First comes the handsome, personalized lease document. This reproduction of an 1890 U.S. Treasury “License for Sugar Producer” is printed on parchment and embossed with a gold seal.
- Then, three lively newsletters will keep lessees updated on the activities of the sugaring crew as it snowshoes its way about the sugarbush. Maple sap is collected by connecting trees with environmentally benign tubing so that the clear, cold sap flows directly to the sugarhouse. In which – without using any chemical anti-foaming agents – we boil it down using a blazing wood fire. No petroleum fumes pollute our mountain air.
- Transforming raw sap to syrup takes dedication, snowy walks, muscle, fire and patience. It’s a slow process to boil down 40 plus gallons of sap into one gallon of pure wood-fired syrup. Talk about reducing a sauce!
- We do all the work and you get all the raves (while helping support America’s family farms).

An original & enjoyable program! Loved the certificate that was sent. Very professional. Loved it, loved it, loved it! We are going to give this to our friends for Christmas!

My mother received her maple syrup from her lease and she absolutely loved it! A delicious gift for someone who doesn’t need more ‘stuff’.

I have enjoyed the updates about the sugaring season (learning about the process of making maple syrup). I’m a vegan, so this was the perfect gift. Your syrup is the best I’ve ever had in my life! I don’t want to share it with anyone. Ha.

Just wanted to let you know that what you are doing is fantastic!!! Quite a while ago, my family got together and bought my folks a “Sugar Maple tree” for a year. It was a Christmas gift and said it included some syrup, but we really did not know what to expect. About a week before Christmas, an announcement came with an official deed, tree number and location. Throughout the year they received letters from the “tree” about weather, other trees, the people caring for the trees, animals they had seen walking around. The letters were funny, warm and insightful and my parents looked forward to them. Towards the fall, we heard about the “peepers” and how the cold was coming up, and the holidays. It was the best maple syrup I had ever tasted. My folks are still talking about that gift.

I did this for my wife (and yeah, me too) and absolutely loved it. So much, I’m doing it again for 2023.

This is our FAVORITE gift every year from my in-laws. We refuse to buy maple syrup now, and will only use the syrup from “our tree.” 🙂 The syrup is OUTSTANDING and it is so cool to receive updates on the harvest while you await your sweet, delicious delivery!
